What Is God Like?
1.) God is eternal. God has always lived. He will always live.
All people who live on the earth will grow old and die.
But God can never grow old or die (Hebrews 1:10-12).
2.) God is all-powerful. Human beings are weak and limited.
But God can do anything. We can trust the promises
of God because He has the power to fulfill them.
3.) God is all-knowing. It is possible to hide things from
the eyes of people, but nothing can be hidden from
God (Proverbs 5:21 & 1 John 3:20).
4.) God is unchanging. Everything in the world changes.
Even our bodies change as we grow older. But God
Never changes. He is the same yesterday, today, and
forever (Malachi 3).
5.) God is holy and righteous. Unlike man, God is free of sin.
He is holy and righteous in His character. To worship
God is to seek this same holiness and righteousness
In our own lives (Psalm 11:7)
6.) God is merciful. God loves us. Although He hates sin,
He will forgive our sins if we truly repent (Psalm 103:8).
